The Nutrition & Education Shield
We currently support 3 families and 6 children with a holistic “Health + Mind” approach.
- Verified Nutrition: Every week, families receive funds specifically for full-cream milk, eggs, and fresh fruits. To ensure the highest standards of care, we verify purchases through photo updates of milk packet dates and fresh produce.
- Academic Mentorship: Beyond paying for tuition and uniforms, we provide the “extras” that build a childhood—bicycles for transport and soccer balls for play.
- Active Guidance: We aren’t silent donors. We conduct regular check-ins to monitor academic progress and ensure the family’s emotional well-being is stable.
Skill Building & Vocational Training
We believe in “teaching a person to fish.”
- Tailoring Program: We are currently sponsoring adults from 2 families to learn professional tailoring. This provides them with a dignified skill and a sustainable secondary income stream to break the cycle of poverty.
The Nursing Transformation
We are walking alongside a determined young adult transition from domestic labor to a professional nursing career.
- Bridging the Gap: While she pursues her nursing degree, Skillmitra provides a financial safety net for her family, who previously relied on her sole income. We aren’t just funding a student; we are protecting a family while a future hero is born.
The Skillmitra Circle of Care
Our community extends beyond just one person. We have a dedicated circle of friends and family who provide monthly “Care Packages” consisting of:
• Essential Healthy Fats: Pure Ghee for cooking.
•Premium Nutrition: 3–4 varieties of dry fruits to boost immunity and energy.
